Snapping Turtle

Peewee is our Common Snapping Turtle. Given to Matt as a hatchling, he was found by a friend in a small frog pond that was heavily polluted. Originally I (Matt) only wanted to keep him until he got a little larger (to help him survive) and then release him in a clean and safe area, but as I got to know him I realized what an interesting personality he has, and that he would be great to help educate people about the effects of pollution on local wildlife.
